where 50 000h should last for 50y :-DD why their numbers became more modest

Cite your source of numbers if you want to be believable, rather than an undefined "they". I believe your numbers are not correct, at least for quality products which can last the life of the vehicle.
But in general, the 50K number is about JUST the LED, not the associated electronics that require sufficient heatsinking. Heat is what shortens the life of the electronics. Cheap aftermarket products often skimp on both the quality of components and the heatsinks.

meant household bulbs . usually not near to automotive environment temperatures
I bought one E27 PAR Osram in ~2010 for ~15eur top price at the time. It still works (avg daily usage ~0.5h/d ) not much data but dozen cheap had been repaired (failed : capacitors ,LED)

Underpasses can be hundreds of metres long, especially when 2 roads cross in a gentle X pattern, and someone is underneath for quite a distance. They seem to like doing that in parts of America, and your sat nav gets confused because you appear to be on the right road, when you are really on the one above or below.

I don't have a car, but my dad's car does automatically adjust the lighting, when going through a tunnel. I don't know if there's a time delay, or a low pass filter on the sensor, to prevent it flashing, whilst going under a bridge.

I think any modern car with automated lights does this. As I enter any darkish place my LCD dashboard switches from day mode (bright background) to night mode (dark background). Assuming I have the lights in the automatic mode they switch too. If they have been left in manual, the dashboard gives a warning as things get dark.
