Well, in Slovakia SOS electronics ( http://www.soselectronic.com/ ) is probably the biggest. We also use farnell a lot for the fancier things.

They're certainly not the biggest, but one of the best TE distributors I've come across in the UK is SJ Electronics.

Thanks. I'll contact them. I tried before with Elfa in Sweden and rest of Europe but they were not interested, most likely due to too small margins and volume.

Nothing I'm aware of. The unions are very strict here, so there's a complete absence of online order activity here.
Everything we order comes from .de .fr .cn .nl.

Except for the multinationals, of course, they most often have a local agency, like conrad.be
But even they ship from other countries: faster and cheaper.

Guess will have the best luck with him and he could actually promote your stuff, not just list it. He is the only authorized distributor in Latvia of Keysight, GW Instek and some other big guys. I can drop him a message if you will (PM your contact details). Or I can PM his non public email.

Not with the dollar at the lowest its been in around a decade. The advantage of a local distrubutor is they can keep shipping cost lower (brokerage charges), mainly that applies to heavy stuff though. Bigger Companies like all the main North American distros have deals with the couriers so we don't get raped with courier brokerage fees or have to clear deliveries in customs ourselves. I also live a stones throw from the U.S and have friends and family on both sides so that helps in that department.

Oh yes, the infamous brokerage fees. I've been bit by that too when buying from Canada.

Thanks. I however have already contacted ELFA. I even wrote a nice email in Swedish but it turned out the man in charge was Swiss so I had to rewrite in English! Anyways, they turned me down - not sufficient margin and revenue, apparently.

You have to be able to provide a healthy margin (at least 30% !) on your product and do volume discounts. Either way Farnell/Element14 isn't too shy about charging more for products than other dealers. Their USP is having stuff in stock for next day delivery for free.

As a big downside (of course you know it yourself) he mentioned only USB 2.0 and PCI-E 1.1 supported because the development of the new products tend to be using  newer standards and people ask for the equipment which is supporting them. He likes your pricing though.

I usually give 30% distributor rebate on 5 units. I'm not sure is raising the price to competitor's pricing and increase the reseller discount to 50% would result in more sales and revenue. I doubt it since most units are sold directly from the ITIC web site, only about 20% via resellers.

Yes, this is all true. The USB 2.0 analyzer sales has gone down significantly from the peak. Despite this, few USB 2.0 protocol analyzers are sold on Ebay so people are holding on to them for various debugging work.

I'm currently working on a USB 3.0 analyzer that most new designs would have use for. Pricing around 30% lower than competing units.
