Yes, ouch, sounds like the estate was from a ham, or an EE. From my limited experience, the equipment most often gets to someone who can put it to good use, which I think the silent key would have wanted, better than scrapped for parts.
Since the gear you listed is very unlikely to be found together plus 'estate sale' googling the sale won't be hard to identify. I located this in PA, it reads like the same thing:

Good job. Estate auctions often have the best deals, morbidness aside. The biggest windfalls are when hams pass away, aka silent keys, and there can be had many good buys.
You don't want to know what I passed on. A Metcal MX500 hot air system. LPKF ProMat S62 PCB machine. Craftsman 17" industrial drill press. All nearly free, but my place is already a huge mess.
