Title: Blissfully, I no longer have a need for this at work

But I could use some for droids the other side of counters or the other end of phones :(

Might still be worth buying one, to display alongside "BUM scouring powder" and "Fat-free Sour Cream". When on the west coast of LeftPondia, I should also have nicked breakfast menus proclaiming "egg-free omelettes".

All jokes aside, no job is worth twisting yourself into a pretzel or having to use (legal) chemicals to endure.

I royally fucked up my own life by having an unhealthy and unrealistic attitude toward work and work rewards.  I thought that by just doing more work to the exclusion of everything else, I could overcome the issues in the workplace.  End result was three burnouts and recurrent depression I cannot seem to get rid of, plus other odd mental and physical ailments from rashes to pains to inability to handle any stress I still need to investigate and work on.  It is never worth that.

If you find yourself making jokes about it, I'd say it is worth your health and the rest of your life, to consider looking at a different job.  Even if it requires a complete career change.  It is the small things in life that make life worth living, not your salary or job title.

End of negative-nancying, let the jokes continue.  :-+

Oh, I entirely agree! I've been able to ensure I was never in that position :)

But I was thinking of applying that paste to others, to adjust their attitude. After all, my attitude is perfect - by definition.

Ah, right-o.  I've been known to swing the proverbial clue-bat quite hard at people myself, up to and including 'direct verbal negativity' before actual helpful suggestions, to get them to really think.

I don't think paste will do much to salespeople and managers, other than ruin their nice suits.  Perhaps concrete?  Lots of it?  Or perhaps we could do the old 'Golgafrinchan' with a spaceship?

   I've adopted a (slightly snarky) 'Word for the Day',...thanks to an old friend that kept a Word Calendar near his desk. (Thanks, Tom).
Today's WORD is a phrase:
   'Clearly Mis-labled' a phrase used by a newscaster, on various protestor self-lables.

   I think a lot of my burnout is from the intractable or 'stuck' nature of the various problems.
I HAD some thoughts, about spending $150 cash, to pay one doctor to correctly inform another doctor (Lyme Disease issues), but events led to my canceling that fool plan.
You cannot change those so stubborn, in their disease.   That's almost a John Lennon lyric, lol;
Come Together,...circa 1969.
