Is there an occasion for 248 days of continuous operation?

Alexander.

I did a search with "boeing generator " and it didn't came up. Maybe on the thread for the batteries?

Old news. http://aviation.stackexchange.com/questions/14494/in-what-circumstances-could-a-787-stay-powered-on-continuously-for-248-days (http://aviation.stackexchange.com/questions/14494/in-what-circumstances-could-a-787-stay-powered-on-continuously-for-248-days)

It's a theoretical risk, in practice 6 month maintenance check would require complete power down.

Yep, I remember reading it somewhere months ago (maybe a year ago?). The information at the time from Boeing was to reset computers as part of regular checks/maintainance.
