Can somebody recommend me a book for the electronics basics ?
A book that explains:
resistors, capacitors, inductors, Ohm law, Kirchhoff Law, A.C. and D.C. of analysis of RCL and more similar topics.
Thanks.
David.
Thanks ! I will check it out.
wow nice find on the pdf ... it will work till i can get the copy i just ordered ^_^
Excellent, thanks for the link !
I am tempted to say: The art of electronics or Practical Electronics Inventors...
How ever first mentioned will have new updated print coming out maybe next year, and its costs pretty penny, unless you buy used on.
And second one i have no idea, there seems to be long thread about it https://www.eevblog.com/forum/beginners/practical-electronics-for-inventors-3rd/
+1
and
The Digilent Inc's video helped me a lot
Regards,
Not that they are bad books, but I'm not convinced either the "Art of Electronics" or "Practical Electronics for Inventors" is really suitable for a beginner. The Art of Electronics seems too complex while Practical Electronics is too full of errors.
I might recommend "Electrical Engineering 101" by Darren Ashby. Maybe along with a very simple starter book such as "Getting Started in Electronics" by Forrest Mims.
"Practical electronics for Inventors" is a fantastic book if you ask me. There are some errors in the math shown in some places, but for the theory etc its a great read.
After you read that, then I recommend Art of Electronics for some more in depth reading.
