I live in Boston. Better than most for this, I guess, but it's no Silicon Valley.

There's You-Do-It, in Needham, the best-stocked hobbyist store around. Several notches up from Radio Shack, but worth a special trip?

Come spring, the monthly MIT Flea Market in Cambridge will resume. That's fun!

Check out the Mark I computer in the Science Center in Harvard if you're in the neighborhood.

What am I overlooking?

Glad you asked..hope others can tell me about places I don't know.

Depending on how far you want to go, there is Electronic Surplus Supply in Manchester, NH... but it's quite a ride from Boston (an hour or so).

The name escapes me, but wasn't there a place off 95 down by Attleboro or just perhaps over the line in RI?

Jabbour's I think it was.
