BTLE to BT (non-BLE) HID keyboard bridge?
« on: July 09, 2021, 10:21:50 pm »
I bought a beautiful Logitech BT keyboard, marketed as "Compatible with iOS 5 or newer", except that my old iPad 2 doesn't see it (iPhone 8 sees it just fine, as does my 2 yr old Android...)

How would I go about making an HID bridge - a device which has both BLE and non-BLE bluetooth (whatever you call it) and it would simply forward the keystrokes received on the BLE adapter to the iPad 2, connected to the NON-BLE BT adaptor .... I'd pair my Logitech BLE keyboard to the BLE BT adaptor of this "bridge", and then pair the iPad 2 to the non-BLE, standard bluetooth

Thanks, if you have any solutions, I possess ESP32, ESP8266 and a vast array of gizmos of other sorts, and a few R/Pis, Arduinos etc.
