this weekend is the DIY audio annual event known as Burning Amp

(sample photo from the 2009 event; someone's interesting spkr build project)

its where the audio audio crowd gets together to show what they have designed, built or modded over the last year.  we didn't have an event last year so this is 2 years worth of pent-up hacking that needs to come out in the open and show itself ;)

I will be giving a half hour talk on my arduino remote control project that I've been working on, quite heavily, over the last year.  my talk is at 10am - attendance and parking is free and the 'show network' of audio gear is sure to have many things there that are worth seeing and hearing.

this is not a commercial vendor event; its all about DIY and self-made audio stuff.  it has a very unique feel to it.

hope to see some of you there.

cheers,

Bryan Levin (aka, linux-works, sercona audio)

Oh my, that sounds like fun!!
Should you find yourself in a chronically leaking boat, energy devoted to changing vessels is likely to be more productive than energy devoted to patching leaks.

It was a pleasure meeting you there Bryan.  Thanks for posting your slides.  I didn't get there until after noon and missed a few talks including yours.

video is now online:

thanks to linear systems for doing the recording an upload.

(I'm not great at public speaking, but hopefully the material and demos might be useful).
