| [S] Bus Pirate: does it STAY in "transparent bridge" (UART) mode? |

I have a JYETech "DSO-150" pocket 'scope, and I have compiled a new firmware from https://github.com/michar71/Open-DSO-150 - what I need to know is, if I use my "Bus Pirate" in "transparent bridge" aka UART mode, and setup that mode using "Teraterm" or whatever, will the Bus Pirate STAY in that mode if I then exit "Teraterm" and use it with "Flash Bootloader Demonstrator" as is required by the DSO-150 upgrade process? Here's the upgrade guide; I just need confirmation that "Bus Pirate" won't exit UART mode unless I send it the reset signal? https://jyetech.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/dso150-shell-how-to-upgrade-firmware.pdf Thany Manks! :P [UPDATE]: Once "Bus Pirate" is in UART mode, and all bitrates etc set, you just enter "(1)" and it enters transparent UART bridge mode. I have now successfully updated my JYE TECH DSO-150 to the custom firmware (see below) and will test it soon. |
