No reproduction- no life. --- End quote --- I can't self-reproduce. Neither can you. :) No hydrogen...no life. So perhaps the purpose is to be hydrogen. Not so easy to simplify or assign a meaning afterall, eh? --- End quote --- No humans can't, but there are organisms that can. |

The human mind however developed, will not be able to understand the beginning or end of the universe! |

You know, if it is all according to some predetermined plan, there is some real big psychopathic shit in that plan. --- End quote --- Some of the major religions teach that everything is predetermined and there is nothing you can do about it. If that is actually true and there is a creator then given the course of human history he would have some serious questions to answer. Those same religions, while claiming to represent him, have been involved up to their necks in politics and wars since they began. I have read the Bible cover to cover several times and quite a bit of it flatly contradicts what these religions teach. Which is why they have in the past fought tooth and nail to stop people reading it and nowadays do their best to discredit or misrepresent it. Many people swallow the ridiculous things that these religions teach and consequently they get the idea that an "old bearded egomaniac" or "psychopath" is in control. |

--- Quote from: OutbackElectronics on September 22, 2022, 05:56:03 am ---The point of lives is for humans to serve the true and living God. If it weren't for Him, there would be no point to life. Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. --- End quote --- I would say read the rules first before you start spreading the word https://www.eevblog.com/forum/chat/forum-rules-please-read/ As long as we keep it to some technical debate about how and why life came to be it is somewhat within the lines of allowable. Don't bring religious preaching into it. |
