So I'm graduating with my bachelor's in EE, and I've received an admit from TU Delft for their Systems and Controls MSc. I'm interested a lot in robotics so I figure it's a great option for it (They have an MSc for Robotics as well, but it's too shallow IMHO and the electives aren't to my taste). Here's the thing, I love doing electronics stuff and I don't want to stop doing it. So after I graduate, would it be possible for me to settle in as an EE working on robotics or should I look into another program? I plan on working in the Netherlands, or Berlin.

I would investigate two avenues:
1. Try and find some engineering managers at companies that do the kind of work you’re into and ask them directly.
2. Look for some job listings for the kinds of positions you ultimately want, and reach out to their recruiters and ask. They should be able to give you an idea of whether they’d consider your planned degree.

My hunch — and it’s purely gut feeling — is that you’ll be fine. A lot of electronics is control, so being an expert in control systems seems very applicable to me. But I’d definitely reach out to employers to find out.

Nothing. But OP doesn’t plan to be there, for reasons that are none of our business.

Nothing, a career as an EE is just plain boring in India. I've asked seniors and some people I know and most of the job opportunities just involve implementing designs that have been outsourced. I want more, this is my passion. My growth would hit a brick wall if I chose to stay here. Most people switch over to management or software. I wouldn't have done a degree in electronics if I wanted to end up there.

If you are unsure about getting a job elsewhere, perhaps working in India for a year or two to get some experience under your belt may be a good idea. Managers who are hiring like to see at least some experience.
