What does the "5mm" mean?

Hello,

I don't know exactly what the 5mm is referring to, but it has something to do with how blunt or sharp the point is. Compare the pictures of the 5mm and the 3mm.

I would also recommend a machinists forum(unless someone here can give you an informed answer). Maybe CNCzone? They have a lot of machinists(i think it's the world's largest machinist forum).

it aint blunt, it will create a very good hole on your skull if it got punched on your head, and they are meant to be punched on a really hard stuff. 5mm is either the length of the tip (from tip to tapered corner) or diameter of the tapered corner (that is near the tip)

edit: from rough estimation (picture), more likely its the diameter of the taper.
