Title: Changes at the EDN web-site

Hello Everyone,
I have been a long time subscriber to a number of EDN news letters and enjoy reading them.Till a while ago the articles could be easily downloaded in pdf format.This is no longer the case, no more menu entries for pdf download.Is it just my browser settings or there was a policy change at EDN?If this was/is a deliberate policy change, the web-site became a lot less useful!Any comment on the above?

Its all about advertisement driven business, PDF file basically shut off part of your viewing real estate areas, especially for the onlined interractive types.

Indeed, it seems to have changed lately.

As BravoV said. It's just a matter of generating revenue. Yes it sucks, but they probably don't have a choice if they want to keep running.

Hi,

I hardly ever go to EDN now, way too much marketing bullshit and tracker.
They themselves make it increasingly unattractive to go to that website.

It's like the last years of "Electronics and Wireless World" almost entirely advertising and you had to look hard for articles that were of some value.
