Are the cheap 10 turn pots from china and hong kong on ebay any good?

Do you mean the trimmers, or the panel pots? I've had awful luck with the ten-turn trimmers and good luck with the panel pots.

I second c4757p, the 10  turn panel pot on my psu has took a lot of abuse.  I got it from ebay.
