I've never used these before, but I think crimping can sometimes help avoid soldering which I'd prefer for just connecting wires to try something out.
E.g. I'm looking at connecting 3 wires of different gauges 2 pieces of 30 AWG signle-stranded wire-wounding wire and a multi-stranded piece of mains wire (not sure what gauge it is, but it's rated 15 amps I think).
This is just a temporary connection so I don't about long-term connection quality, corrosion etc, just something to replace soldering.
I'm searching on Aliexpress and have found these

Please share if you have experience with this type of crimp terminals if they are any good.
Ideally I would buy several different diameters to have handy when needed.
I also need a crimping tool for these, so please share which tool you're using to crimp these (will be ordering from Aliexpress or Ebay).
