Supply: 5V. Trigger pulse transition from 17V to 0V. Duration of low signal from 150ns. What are your suggestions. Thank you for you time!  ;D M

I would use 74 series 123 or 221 depending if you want retriggerable or non-retriggerable one. 555 i guess would also work but I have more experience with 74123 and 74221, just add some zener clipper or something and it should work nicely. You can easily choose whether to trigger on falling or rising edge.
