There are not many electronic engineers in China who can speak English, but some have very good English writing skills. Fortunately I always have a Chinese engineer around who can make phone calls if necessary. Come to think of it, from my experience there are not many Anglo electronic engineers born in Australia with good written English. If it wasn't for spell checkers, most would be stuffed. I have found that American electronic engineers have superior writing skills to their Aussie counterparts.
A former colleague of mine had a hobby of studying linguistics. He told me the world's most difficult language to learn is Icelandic, the world's easiest language to learn is Indonesian and the world's most perfected language is Italian. In my opinion, the world's most difficult language to learn is C++, the easiest language is C, and the most perfect language is C#.
