Circuit bending as a gateway to electronics.
« on: April 01, 2013, 01:08:17 am »
Run several open community projects focused on teaching people of all ages new skills such as basic electronics. In the past I've tried just the basics but people seem to find it hard to grasp so I've changed my approach. We now hold workshops on circuit bending where people are encouraged to bring along all electronic toys and experiment.

This approach seem  to work well as the devices are familiar and the techniques are very simple but I'm wanting to expand on the idea now and allow people to take more away from the workshops without going into too much detail.

Suggestions very welcome

And this is pretty much what I go from when running the workshops.

Original and best.
