Communication protocol
« on: June 06, 2020, 04:47:11 pm »
Hello,
I cannot find name of communication protocol that was used in some device in EEVBLOG on Youtube.  |O I remeber that protocol was based on colon and text e.g. "DEVICE:TEMPERATURE"  or "DEVICE:RESET".
Could u help me to find what was that protocol? :-//

Apparently you don't remember the protocol's name, or the device, or the video itself. Ah, memory!

Anyway, a text-based protocol with colon separators and related to electronics: I'd say it's likely to be SCPI.

That's it! Thanks a lot!
Maybe do you know more protocols similar to this one?
