Roto Wipe? About as clear an example of plagiarism imaginable - 'Clag-Gone' dates back to the early 1980's. Hope they have good lawyers and deep pockets as they will inevitably be required to face up to the mighty 'Viz Corp' establishment. Let God have mercy on their gag-stealing souls.... |

--- Quote from: janoc on March 13, 2020, 11:58:03 pm ---So yes, you are panicking. --- End quote --- Exactly what I expected to hear: the panic about panic. Please go on with your panic: I continue my panicless life. It's easy, because I'm not very social anyway, don't like to attend public events or live "service-based" life, and am very accustomed to having food in my household even under completely normal conditions. (This is likely due to spending 2 months every year in total isolation, washing gold, 10km walk, 2-hour motorboat trip + 1-hour drive away from the nearest store, every summer since 1 year-old; the food/supply arrangements are normal for me.) So there is little change. I have a slighly larger stockpile than usual (stocked well before the epidemic phase), which makes my life easier so that I don't need to think about the mechanisms you spend time describing and relying on. They still exist for me the same, if needed; but me not requiring them immediately benefits both my ease-of-life and the burden to the system. You are right that if the shit really hits the fan, then we are finally on the same line because no stockpile is infinite. I'm not too interested about that remote possibility; you are free to panic about it as you wish. I prefer a local L1 cache so that the already congested bus isn't filled up with my small requests when there is no real need for them. |
