--- Quote from: Electro Detective on March 21, 2020, 09:56:16 am --- FYI 100 years ago most people were idiots and believed ANYTHING reported to them. Due to too much conflicting BS, I believe Mary got an undeserved bad rap for something smelly that was going on --- End quote --- And... you just proved that some people today still behave that way. |

I don't think people 100 years ago were any more gullible than people today, I mean you don't have to look beyond the fake stories and rumors that spread through social media to see that. In general I think the news was higher quality back then too. Sensationalism was a problem then as it is now but there wasn't the 24 hour news channels needing filler content. |

and again for those that missed or skipped: "Mallon spent the rest of her life in quarantine at the Riverside Hospital. Six years before her death, she was paralyzed by a stroke. On November 11, 1938, she died of pneumonia at age 69.[1] A post-mortem found evidence of live typhoid bacteria in her gallbladder.[17] Other researchers have cited George Soper who wrote, "There was no autopsy" to assert a conspiracy to calm public opinion after her death. If we can believe 2020 sources, the reporters and researchers back then (FOS) did not concur = BS Radar Alert! :bullshit: :bullshit: I hope Mary's spirit can now truly RIP :-+ |

To actually mention the 'cure' word here, there is a NEW discussion on Aussie TV today, about the old Vaccine for 'Tuberculosis'. We don't have a need for it generally here in Australia any more, but they say that this vaccine ALSO GREATLY increases your general "Immune System". As such, it is believed that although it won't 'cure' you, it may greatly help your body to adapt/fight this Coronavirus ?? Hopefully, anything that may help is worth looking in to... :( |
