Does anyone know what this test equipment is?
« on: August 04, 2012, 06:31:40 am »
I was watching some videos from Power Integrations, they use this test gear on several videos, but I can never see a model number.  I was curious about it.

From the colors it looks like a B+K Precision model, and searching for it based on the features I can see in the video didn't help me at all.
It seems to have Volts, Amps, Watts, phase degrees? Power Factor, harmonics? etc.

Here's a snapshot of the closeup they use in the videos.  It looks like a 5-1/2 or 6 digit triple display DMM with special features for measuring power convertors.

If you know the model, please tell :)

Thanks in advance.

I find it interesting that the scale goes up to "Mega"  volts/amps/watts

Greek letter 'Psi' (not Pounds per Square Inch)

It's a shame that the month section of the DeLorean time circuit display is impossible with real LEDs.
I guess 16-segment starburst letters just didn't look cool enough for Bob Zemeckis 8)
