MrMobodies:
I found an article but noticed the wiring looking a bit dodgy how it is run.

Hackney Wick: Collapse of bar floor injures 13

Notice: Two cable wall clips on the left, and only one clip on the right. As pointed out by Dunkemhigh and on closer look not the same length with the right smaller than the left.
I can barely see what looks like a gland between the light switches ontop underneath joining onto the socket to the left under it.
The wire seems to be curved near the support is and a bit stretched onto the socket near the window.
The picture is bit unclear but near the window is that look like thick stranded core cable that's used behind walls?

I have seen the sockets like that many times before wired externally where the cables are in pipes, a few very with thick plastic looking cables with a plastic cover that covers of the glands on the socket and a few in trunking.

What do you see? Is it just untidy or dodgy/poorly laid out?

Looks like the floor had more than one problem also.

Looks like a normal British installation to me. On par with British plumbing.

What's the issue with that? If it's distance between supports then it's about the same for left and right. There are two clips on the left leaving short stubs into the (alleged) glands, but  presumably that's because a single clip would have a too-large distance between supports. Or have I missed something?

Designed installed and signed off by the same person who designed installed and signed off the new mezzanine  floor
