Title: Cree's New HV Guitar Amplifier
Post by: sonicj on May 13, 2012, 09:17:14 am
OK, well... Sorta...  :D

Cree's Silicon Carbide Mosfets -- Another Geek Moment (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pk33sa_kmD8#ws)

I've seen similar setups before on Youtube, but they all sounded like @$$. That thing sounds basically sounds like a real amp/speaker! You might want to sit down before you look up the price on those MOSFETS.  :o  But anywho, what a cool way to demo your new products!

A nice way to prevent anybody touching your speakers, make them self electrified, with a built in light.

I thought IRF would come out with it first, but remembering who brought SiC LED's to the market first, yeah, was expecting it.
