Curiosity Rover Driver

Any body noticed this before? I wash shocked to see there's someone driving Curiosity Rover on Mars.

How do we know that isn't a martian that's hijacked the rover?

If it is then the fact that they didn't take it at a jaunty angle whilst pulling stupid faces in front of a bathroom mirror means that the answer to the question is yes, there is intelligent life on Mars!
