At least 68 children among 126 killed' in bus bombing

It happened when a vehicle loaded with food arrived and started distributing crisps, attracting many children, before exploding

This is just heart breaking. Pure evil.

I know this is off topic but I think as an sentient beings we should not oversee such acts of violence and war crimes. My own country went through civil war. Rebels would put bombs in schools and we would have to evacuate school. There were always bombs exploding and people being killed. You could hear the gunfire and fighting between rebels and armed forces all night. I was a kid back then and it was just terrifying. I was afraid to go school not because I had't done my home work but because I was afraid of Maoists. Every kid living in rural Nepal had heard of stories of children being kidnapped and sent to fight for the rebels.
But to be fair I wasn't as bad as the civil wars in other countries. We had home to live and food to eat. We got off easy. I felt like I was going to die everyday I went to school and it wasn't even that bad. I can only imagine how those kids in Syria feel.
It's just heart breaking.

Someone fucked up real bad. So, people need to take responsibility for this fuck up and try to fix this as soon as possible. Whole NATO coalition went on and invaded Iraq in a week because they suspected Saddam had chemical and biological weapons. Assad is using chemical weapons. I understand the whole love story of Assad and Putin but this is just crossing the line over and over again. How can countries be so self absorbed in their interests that they would let 1000s of children die.

Well, one reason why they were so fast with Iraq but not with Syria might be written in Wikipedia.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oil_reserves_in_Iraq :
"Oil reserves in Iraq are considered the world’s second-largest proven oil reserves, with 140 billion barrels."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Syria#Oil_and_natural_gas :
"Syria is a relatively small oil producer, accounting for just 0.5 percent of the global production in 2010."

And it is interesting to note that Trump owns stock in Raytheon, who produced the 59 Tomahawk missiles that were fired, which costs $1 million apiece:

Raytheon trading volume more than doubled at April 7th compared to other days, and a small peak in the price:

You are right, and off topic means that we don't discuss it here. If you want to discuss it please find an appropriate forum. The rules of this forum are that there are to be no political or religious discussions, granted these topics do make their way into discussions that are well into their hundred page but starting a topic on a religious or political subject is not allowed I am afraid. Please refrain from doing so.
