I was just playing with the repaired wavetek 395 and the modulation methods, and I noticed you can make cool tones by setting RF modulation with audible frequencies as the carrier.

I think the Alien movies might have done something like this too IIRC, where they modified animal noises with analog electronics.

(On a totally unrelated sidenote, I can still kick myself I didn't buy that original Kraftwerk Vocoder, AFAIR it was only 2000,- DM on ebay back then :/ )
