Funny I wrote to EEV Dave and asked him to maybe do a 8060a review of older Flukes.   He informed me it was already done. 
I must say compared to the 73iii the continuity is no comparison.  I have a 112 as well and still find myself using the 8060a.
The 8060a was the first real meter i purchased back in 1990?  One for me and one for my father.

Never noticed the 2 and 20 range input impedance difference.
