Decomisioning the Hanford site
« on: December 03, 2020, 09:42:16 pm »
I found a fascinating youtube channel of the Hanford Site (source of a lot of the US nuclear material and other things):

https://www.youtube.com/user/HanfordSite/videos

Since a lot of the stuff was done in a hurry and for the military, it seems that the eventual need to clean up was not exactly a high priority on the designers mind.

Some of the videos are really fascinating and give you a glimpse as to what working there was like and what sorts of operations were done.
