You can check-out any time you like, but you can never leave!
(The Eagles, "Hotel California")
 >:D
Seppuku is the only viable solution...

As well as the existing "Say Thanks" button/link. We could add a "Hatred/Detest/Disagree/Disapprove User and their post" function. If this ever gets to 10 points, your account gets automatically suspended until the mods/admins agree to release it.
If it ever gets to 20, you get auto perma-banned for life.

For extra effect, the name(s) of the user(s), who have selected this option, could be shown.

tl;dr
Thank : Hate buttons.
N.B. There is a tiny possibility that I am  :-DD here.

Why won't this post DIE?

It's kinda funny really, a post about deleting your account gets neroposted

Anyways to answer some stuff I never did:

Look, may be self-account-deletion is the only way to regain honor after making a ridiculous reply or wrote something stupid?

Kind of an electronic version of the seppuku that the OP wanted to do?

One last sake, and off with this logon...

I have wanted to virtually kill myself numerously times on this forum. All I did to overcome is it realize that most everything that is posted here is forgotten for the most part, and that nobody would begrudge me for stupid shit I said, largely because nobody has stable ground to talk upon.

Sorry, I like neat squares of two.

You'll never be prime material.  :)

Then how about you go for 16 or 64.

For a hand calculator I think that's pretty good.

For a hand calculator, that is very impressive. Most calculators, struggle to get much beyond their display digits limit.

Pretty unusual for somebody from the Metrology section to undergo an accelerated pram clear-out. They're usually the calmer folks around here!

A similar concept (so called strikes) does not seem to work well on Youtube, does it ?

I was only joking.
The potential for flamewars and other upsets, would make it unlikely to succeed, here.

Youtube somehow (I DON'T properly understand why), seems to get VERY poor quality comments on it. With much bickering and other bad stuff. I often/usually ignore the youtube comments.
But they are sometimes useful/helpful.
E.g. What is the name of the music used as the backtrack, for this persons youtube video. Hopefully someone will say.
Or where do you buy that thing/tool used in the video and what exactly is it called.
YouTube has an AI post removal system, which is supposed to be targetted at hateful, racist, sexist, homophobic etc. posts, but often lets through really racist posts and blocks ones which aren't. Interestingly, if your post is blocked, it lets you think it's posted, until you hit the refresh button and it's gone. I don't comment much on YouTube now because of the random censorship and when I do, I always copy-paste to a text editor, so I can revise the post, if it's blocked. I often have to resort to misspelling certain words, in order for it to get accepted.

Ah, yes, the only conceivable reason a Russian person that has shared interesting and useful information, provided a lot of knowledge in highly specific areas for no reward leaves is that Putin ordered him to :palm:

You do understand the concept that not every Russian is out there to hack you and thwart the Glorious American Dream, right? Right?
