7.83 Hz must be the brown note

Hi ... and welcome to the EEVblog forum.

This particular thread would not be my first recommendation.

Thinking Yes I would like some help from an Experts  in electronic .

This particular thread is exactly about how that could be done better by having members formally identified as being "expert".  The discussion has made it clear that such a direct "label" (as it were) is extremely problematic.

--- Quote --- Sorry I might be told this is not a good thing to say on a first post .  But I just have to say ..
I am so put off by so many Experts bickering amongst them selves  .

This is not a new issue:  Beginners, don't run away, please!

Sometimes it may be bickering ... sometimes it may be debate.  Almost always differences of opinion come from each individual's experience being unique.  The result is as you have experienced - which gave rise to one member making a statement which I felt worthy of framing:

This forum draws involvement from a global community of people having vast diversity in language, culture, experience and temperament.  This is no different from the real world and, as such, learning some discernment is highly beneficial.  We are not an "homogenised" group in any way, shape of form.  We are just a bunch of people with an interest in electronics that found our way here.

It is also worth noting that everybody here contributes voluntarily, in their own time, for their own reasons ... and for free.

It depends on what you call a sensible answer.

If you are talking about this thread in particular and you were expecting to see the "Expert" system in place, then you won't get that answer.  This is because there has been extensive discussion about the mechanics, the problems and the repercussions of doing so which have, for now, lead to an answer in the negative.

I am in the Wrong electronic forum

I would suggest you interact with people here a bit more before considering walking away.  There have been other members who have found the EEVblog forum a much more palatable alternative to what is on offer elsewhere on the internet.

This thread has covered a lot of territory and has input from most of the more active members.  AFAIK, it has achieved its purpose and the proposal has been canned.  We won't be getting our complimentary "Expert" badges any time soon.  That works for me!  I didn't like focusing on "Thanks" either.  I sometimes give replies and sometimes they are helpful.  That's all I expect to do and that's all anyone can expect of me.

Forget this thread or review it after you have been here a while and understand the dynamics of this site.  It is an unusual site in the sense that there is almost never a single right answer given.  That's because there is never a single right answer to give.  There are some very talented people contributing replies and yet, almost none want to be identified as an "Expert".  Just a bunch of individual contributors.

Watch how threads flow from what seemed like a simple question to a series of posts trying to get the question straightened out and then watch how many different solutions are offered.  Some solutions will be cheaper, easier, higher performing or whatever.  But there will likely never be just one answer.  And that's the beauty of this site.  Diversity of opinion...  "Gee, I never thought of that!".

This is a community forum, the regulars hang out here because it's like hanging out around the water cooler at work. We discuss stuff, and argue about stuff in the way you'd expect a bunch of engineers to fuss of the finest details, expecially in the "general chat" section.
There is "1 sensible answer" that matters in this thread and it's mine when I said this change wasn't going ahead, which was obvious from the poll results. The rest is regulars just chatting about their community and how it works and how they see it, and how they'd like the see it etc.
This thread is doing precisely its intended function.

I thought 7.83hz may have been an answer .

Didn't you know that should be written as 7.83 Hz ?  :-//

--- End quote ---

No!!   7.83hz  is written 100% correctly   . Why did you assume it meant Frequency  :-//  .
Just plain,  I can't think of a sensible answer. So I must jump to the first thing that just popes in to my head  :palm:
