Being an XAerospace now well in my 75 plus yrs. I thought 7.83hz may have been an answer . --- End quote --- Didn't you know that should be written as 7.83 Hz ? :-// --- End quote --- No!! 7.83hz is written 100% correctly . Why did you assume it meant Frequency :-// . Just plain, I can't think of a sensible answer. So I must jump to the first thing that just popes in to my head :palm: I find that the same as you call your self Xrunner . X = abbreviation :: You run away from anything in a skirt . Does it HERTZ ? --- End quote --- I suggest you try to be a little less sensitive. It was a reasonable assumption to make. I wouldn't be surprised if most people thought it meant frequency. I certainly did. You said you're a beginner and writing hz, rather than Hz is a very common error. Alright. What does your username mean then? I'm genuinely interested. |

Why did you assume it meant Frequency --- End quote --- Well, 7.83 Hz is the fundamental frequency of the Schumann resonance of Earth, and thus of interest to anyone doing RF stuff or planetary physics et cetera. A lot of members here are the sort that might recognize the frequency as something significant, and therefore assume your username is related. Note, I'm only saying that it is easy to see why many humans would assume your username to be a reference to this frequency. I'm not saying it is good or bad to assume so, just pointing out why. |

Why did you assume it meant Frequency :-// . --- End quote --- Uh, because it does in that context, if you would Google it you'll find this - --- Quote ---This global electromagnetic resonance phenomenon is named after physicist Winfried Otto Schumann who predicted it mathematically in 1952. Schumann resonances occur because the space between the surface of the Earth and the conductive ionosphere acts as a closed waveguide. The limited dimensions of the Earth cause this waveguide to act as a resonant cavity for electromagnetic waves in the ELF band. The cavity is naturally excited by electric currents in lightning. Schumann resonances are the principal background in the part of the electromagnetic spectrum[2] from 3 Hz through 60 Hz,[3] and appear as distinct peaks at extremely low frequencies (ELF) around 7.83 Hz (fundamental), 14.3, 20.8, 27.3 and 33.8 Hz.[4] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schumann_resonances --- End quote --- So I did look it up because, as you will find (and are finding), that if you don't do a meager amount of research before you make a statement here, you will soon learn to do so. --- Quote --- Just plain, I can't think of a sensible answer. X = abbreviation :: You run away from anything in a skirt . Does it HERTZ ? --- End quote --- If you'd Google "xrunner" you'd have easily found it refers to a Toyota truck model that I happened to have owned for many years. Quite a cool looking truck but it's not made anymore. Very simple and easy thing to do. Did you do it? |
