While the movie itself was a hoakie, the ideas of the robots doing surveillance,  if not the combatants in war, if not civilian assassinations, were portrayed back in that 1984 film.

Those small robots showed by the U of Penn are pretty much the beginning for personal invasion.  Its one impetus to know electronics today, to counteract these devices one will have to build the electronic countermeasures ourselves as I would see any commercial versions easily dissected and defeated or banned from the open market [ e.g. cell phone jammers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_phone_jammer ].

That's a good article on the fallacies of droning, although I do think drones have many valid uses. I think the psychological implications come to bear when they become armed, although I'm not sure that's really it either. I live in Tucson where ther are A10 and F18s and even B2s flying all the time and I never fear them, they just are there doing what they do. But we're not in the front lines of a war, we don't have to worry that plane might open fire. I don't think any civilian population is going to easily accept armed vehicles flying overhead knowing they may open fire at any time - no matter if they are "drones" or manned.

camera and computer are worthless if they dont see the object.

If they don't see the object you have no tag number and therefore it's pointless.

you track the incoming and outgoing using radar, you get the tag using computer. btw it might not be related to the topic

How do you get the tag if you can't see it with the camera?

If the camera doesnt work the rest of it is naught. And if the camera does work, you don't need the radar
