wow, they saved me on a mistake I just made...
I placed a digikey order and usually I take USPS priority shipping, which is 3 day and usually $10 or less for my typical orders. for some reason, I must have clicked the 'faster' version of priority and not realized it.
when I got the email invoice, I was shocked to see a $40 shipping charge. oh no, that's way too much for what I can justify paying and I didn't need things THAT fast. clearly, a mistake on my part.
I called digikey, explained it to them and they said they would credit me back the difference and it would not be a problem.
now THAT is customer service!
good job, digikey. it was not your fault but you helped me out anyway.
