That's interesting - are you trying to kid on us, or is this an real English expression?
I'm asking since the literal translation "Das Baby (or Das Kind) mit dem Bad ausschütten" is a common German expression. Usually literally translations of such expressions don't work.

Yes, it is an English expression, but... It seems we stole it researched it from a Teutonic original, Germany not existing that long ago :)
