What are pcbway votes?

Hallo as i was searching through internet i came across this webpage(https://www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/Automatic_Hand_Sanitizer_Dispenser__Version_2___Using_ATTiny13.html) which as you can see when you move the cursor on the current picture it shows some votes for 4 sections
( design , usability , creativity , content ) ,and i was wondering what does those ratting do?
Are those useful for something , or are like voting on Instagram.

Vote for winners who get coupons, t-shirts, etc.

Are their coupons real? Mentioned everywhere on the website but never had one work lol.
