avoid MS 360, or subscription SW.

never trust any SW to backup, do it manually

we use old NON SUBSCRIBE office 201x and Mulitcommander for BU

Backup to ext 1 tb SSD EVO Samsung 860

Forget the cloud, use Libreoffice or similar.
Cryptocurrency has taught me to love math and at the same time be baffled by it.

Cryptocurrency lesson 0: Altcoins and Bitcoin are not the same thing.

Ignoring that this thread might be canned pork luncheon meat, I actively use two different clouds, and honestly (given that almost nothing I’m using it for is sensitive material, and what is is encrypted) the advantages are enormous. Having worked in the computer and software industry myself (i.e. I’ve seen behind the curtain), I’m not as anti-corporate and anti-cloud as some people. And I don’t hate myself enough to force myself to endure LibreOffice, with its limited feature set and typical-of-open-source-desktop-software lousy user interface.
