I've put caps in multi colored containers and over powered them to get a little light show. Just need some musical accompaniment.

Wired a 100uF 16V wet tantalum in backwards one day, it lasted nearly a minute before it went ballistic. Took about 10 minutes to get the 2 cards out it had wedged itself between. Replaced cap, put the cards back and all was well. Tough stuff that Parylene board protector epoxy, not even a scratch on it from having a 20g slug of tantalum pentoxide blown into it. We used to take the 10uF ones and blow them like small .22 rounds, they went pretty far when they got hot enough to pop the solder seal out.
