Drop in Induction Cooktop Upgrade
« on: March 09, 2022, 12:43:40 pm »
Just wondering if there is any place to purchase a suitable two burner induction cooktop replacement for my old Jenn Air
Opening is 10 3/4  by 18 3/16, It is 240 V, of course.

Just wondering if there is an easy way to convert two burners to induction, The entire cooktop is 47 inches and contains three burner openings and a downdraft fan.
Anybody done this?

Have you asked a appliance dealer, given your specs?

That is a tiny opening, can you make it larger? Why not use the entire 47" area?

A standard 2 burner is something like 12"x20".
Unless you go for those cheap standalone plug into the wall units.
