DS1052E : My scope can't switch on.

Hello,
My scope is DS1052E, just bought from dealextreme few month ago.
Today it can't switch on. I already contact Rigol support and waiting for their suggestion.
I also need suggestion&help from people from this forum too.

Probably silly, but I noticed the AC plug was unusually difficult to get to "lock" on the scope side. Make sure the cord is pushed in all the way. And yeah, I know you probably checked that already but thought it was worth mentioning. When I first got mine I went to move it and it died because the cord wasn't seated all the way. I always make sure to check that before I start a flash upgrade/downgrade.

I have check AC cable and replace with new cable.
My DS1052E never do any modified or hacked.

Did you check power on the wall outlet? Does the Rigol scope have an externally accessible power fuse, and is it open? That's probably as far as you can go without voiding warranty, so I would follow Rigol's suggestions in that case, since it's likely to be a warranty repair/replacement.

Its completely dead, not even the fan turns on?  

If you bought it from dealextreme shipped from China,  I'm not sure if the warranty is valid your country.  So wait for Rigol to reply, or try sending a note to your local Rigol authorized distributor in your country.

If there is no help, or if you have to pay for repair, then its worth opening it to find out what happened.

If its completely dead, hopefully its something simple like a lose connection internally.  Often totally dead devices are related to the power supply, which is easier to fix than any other part of the scope.

The fan is not turn on. I think it's completely dead.
I sent some suggestion request to service@rigol.com and info@rigol.com
