--- Quote from: dave_k on November 26, 2014, 12:22:53 pm ---I had all 3 books as a kid growing up, and build every single project (and then some....) Would love to read those books again for nostalgia. --- End quote --- Yea, too bad for me I didn't have it growing up, my parents where more on the stupid side, and still are. So I was never really exposed to things I should have been. --- Quote from: Muttley Snickers on November 26, 2014, 11:34:49 am ---I think we are both in the same boat, lost in the fog and the compass is buggered. I thought he was asking if anyone had 1,2 or 3 that they could send him, that was my intention providing that I still have them somewhere. :-// :-// :-// Be bloody handy if he spoke Australian. Muttley --- End quote --- I.e. I am asking for comments, from people who had these books as kids. |

Built a few of the kids. From all three volumes. It's what got me started in electronics. 8th Birthday present was the funway volume 2 that came with a soldering iron, fm bug, solder. There was one other but can't remember. |

Yep, another one of those people who got started via the DSE "Fun Way" series in the 80's (and the Wizard and VZ200/300 computers). Even went on to get a job at the local DSE store (have to say though, that was a shocker, nothing like what I anticipated still did it for a couple of years ). |
