Title: Ebay coupon for 15% off a $100 purchase expires in 8 hours - help!

What should I buy - I need suggestions! Maybe a hot air unit for smd (which one) and what else ...  :-//

Throwing good money after the bad money (discount)? IMO if you don't know what you really need, just don't buy at all.

I just want to warn you, that with such impulse buying, you'll get something you don't need at all, and, moreover, can get somewhere else for cheaper without using any coupons. It's not like 50% discount after all. 15% is not better than just a nice thing to have if you were going to buy anyway, not the reason why you MUST buy.

LOL - I have LOTS of stuff I don't need at all. The entire electronics hobby is something I don't need at all. All we really need is food, clothing, and shelter. Oh and a toilet is nice but not really necessary.  ::)

If I'd buy every time when I have some 15% coupon, I'd never had any money at all :).

I today bought a (drum roll)........ Slide rule!

Growing up in the 80's, I missed out the whole exercise of multiplying by adding logarithms etc so I figured out I'll have myself some fun without my TI calculators!

I did get the "Hi Log Log" version but I'm not sure what this means. I'm sure someone could clue me in...

Desoldering iron if you don't already have one and you do a decent amount of desoldering work.
