Everybody is required to change their password.
Yeah thanks. When I first posted I thought I may have been hacked

When I saw your post, I logged into eBay.

I was NOT notified to change my password... but I did anyways.

People please check and double check if the link to the site you got is actually ebay. Especially double check if you haven't even registered the email with ebay or it's services, because that would be little odd. Phishing people love these kinds of things

I haven't been asked by Fleabay to change my password, but I've been getting notices from them stating that I requested to change my password even though I haven't.  I've been getting them on and off for probably a year now, sometimes 2 or 3 a day.  Always a different IP, mostly from the UK.  At first I thought it may have been phishing, but after sending copies to spoof@ebay.com, I never received a reply so I believe them to be legit from E-bay.  I've contacted them about it and again, never received a reply |O.  So far I haven't had any issues with either my E-bay or Pay-Pal accounts, but I'll change both passwords just to be safe in light of this recent attack.
Don't replace the cap, just empty the filter!

Curiously I tried logging in again (haven't changed my password yet) and this time it let me in... no "change you password" notification

I've already got two phishing attempts from "eBay".  Beware and communication and change it on the site directly is the best path IMO.

I received the email, but not trusting it, directly went to ebay.com and changed it there.
I'm not saying we should kill all stupid people. I'm just saying that we should remove all product safety labels and let natural selection do its work.
