Are these esd mats decent? Anyone using one. Hows the top. Would guess not solder proof. Durability?

What exactly will you be doing on it?

If you mean to solder projects, it's not the way to go, as it melts when it comes in contact with molten solder. But if you're only taking things apart/putting them back together, such as fixing/upgrading computers, it would be fine.

There are mats on clearance from All-Spec that might fit your needs. 3x listings for 24"x36", 1x listing for 24"x48", larger, can handle molten solder, and for very similar or less money than what you linked. Also just got a larger size of one of these (medium duty @ 0.060"/1.5mm thick), and it's decent. Especially for the price.

I'd get one ASAP before they're gone.

If you miss them (seems plenty of stock yet), or decide you want a different size than is available above, take a look at this vendor on eBay. Very good quality, lots of selection (size, color, and kits <incl. grounding block & wrist strap> or just mats w/ snaps & ground wire), and will do custom sizes if you need. Mat is 0.080"/2mm thick, so it's heavy duty. Bought one from this seller, and it's good mat material, and well priced vs. other sources.
