Need someone to replace the fans in our power supplies.
« on: March 11, 2022, 11:40:06 am »
Hi,
We have a large batch of 1000’s of SMPS’s for which we want to renew the fans in them. They are starting to fail  due to fan failure. We need to send them to somebody who can replace the fans in them all.
There are companies who do this but only  in China….do you know their address?

How quick do you want them, and how much work is involved in getting to the fans?   A 2 minute job is one thing, a 2 hour job because the unit wasn't designed to be serviced is another!

What sort of £££ do you expect to pay?

D.

I'll do it. I'm not in China and last I checked am not Chinese so you should have no reason to not use me. Send me one of the PSUs and the new fans and I'll give you a free quote.

Trying not to state the obvious, but why aren't you getting the manufacturer of the "large batch of 1000's of SMPS's" with defective fans to do it?  :palm:
Best Regards, Chris

That sounds lot.

May I ask how many years old are they and what are they being used for?
