EEVBlog Forum empty notifications - how to turn off?

Every day I receive a message from "EEVblog Electronics Community Forum" <dave@eevblog.com>

Sometimes it is just an empty message like this:

I have all those checkboxes on that page off, and I still keep getting an empty message every once in a while.

I think I am not the only one who is having this problem.

Those empty notifications are just a waste of traffic and time, and simply annoying.

Your profile settings look OK so you shouldn't be receiving any notifications unless you've pressed the notify button on the thread heading.

I'll have to leave this to Dave as only he has the keys to the Admin level.

I did not press the notify button, and the notifications are EMPTY (no threads, no messages, just greeting and good-bye).

I am still getting an empty email every morning.

So annoying...
