I just went to Penang/Malaysia very recently for some business and to my surprise I found that Dave's EEVBlog has been specifically blocked (this forum) in the airport, as in it brought up a page saying something like this website is not safe for the general population with some official looking stamps.
I find that very surprising as this is just a bunch of geeks worldwide having a good time doing geeky stuff sharing good knowledge and experience. It wasn't blocked on my hotel wifi though, so might just be someone in charge of the airport network who got offended or something.
Another interesting observation is that they have Merry Christmas signs and decorations everywhere, nothing like the PC American happy holidays, no they specifically say Merry Christmas on all their signs. Seems like the American PCs have gone way too far with their happy holidays.

probably not only this site. Have the same shit at my school, just bypass it with a proxy/TOR

The word "hack" amongst others is on the site, hence the blocks. Well most probably.

My understanding is that non-listed sites get keyword analysed. It's possible the word 'forum' is not pertinent enough or someone has specifically whitelisted this site.
