Cheapest ATM is Chinese BYD at £25k I reckon, if the government , or someone, payed me, id be able to produce an electric car, 70mph, range 200 miles, 4 seat, for £9000. Would be ugly, but would get from A to B. I dont even think it would be difficult. --- End quote --- Well maybe if someone "payed" you several hundred million to cover R&D & production facilities and subsidised the batteries you could sell a few, but even then it would be difficult. Production is hard. |

--- Quote ---What is the cheapest ICE vehicle available now in UK? --- End quote --- Thanks, In 2017, in UK, you could buy a brand new Dacia Sandero for £5000. It is , and was, a perfectly good, reliable , comfortable car. |
| Shonky:
It was more than that and how is the price from 6 years ago relevant? |
