Electric watches/clocks...mechanical watches/clocks...
« on: July 10, 2022, 01:46:39 am »
I have not been spending much time here in the last couple of years because I gravitated to the watch/clock fora.  My father was a watchmaker, but I became an electrical engineer...however, in retirement, I am reverting to watchmaking.  I still get to use my electronics skills dealing with quartz watches and electrical clocks.  It is a beautiful world!

I wonder how long before we see a watch based on a chip scale atomic clock. At this point, such an atomic clock module exists, just a bit expensive.

Cryptocurrency has taught me to love math and at the same time be baffled by it.

Cryptocurrency lesson 0: Altcoins and Bitcoin are not the same thing.

It's been done, but I'm not sure I'd call it practical.
